I'm finally trying to get this blog thing figured out. I know everyone wants to see pictures of what we are up to in Hawaii. I discovered a nice scenic viewing point a few minutes drive from our home. its a great spot for Whale Watching. I take the kids there after mason gets out of preschool , if the wind is not blowing to hard or raining . mason got new binoculars from grandma in Alaska for easter( they are viewmaster toy story, you can use them to look at the pictures or as real binoculors) he wanted to go look for whales with them. yesterday was a perfect day , their was no wind and lots of whales! we even saw a couple jump and make huge splashes. we will be sad not to see the whales all summer they are supposed to start swimming north to Alaska and the Northwest. Chad and I have seen them in Alaska on a wildlife glacier cruise. the kids and I will be excited for thier return back to the islands next winter.

Sometimes we will stop at the beach on the way home and play in the sand.
Madeline is still not a huge fan of sand but she enjoys the coral, rocks and shells
Great job making the bench, bed, and picnic table.
